ST1 control lever: for extreme environmental requirements
The requirement of assuring a high permanent IP protection rating (IP56) on the panel top side led to the development of the ST1 control lever. It comes with chrome-plated and / or aluminum alloy cast console. The galvanized or stainless steel handle provides precise control over the sealed shaft. Motion is captured via bevel gears, contacts, potentiometers and encoders. Motion control can be stepped or stepless. Also locking is possible with spring-return or friction brake.
The switches of the ST1 control lever demonstrate their durability and reliability on ships, yachts, oil rigs, or steel mills.
- Single axis control lever
- Chrome-plated powder-coated aluminum housing
- Micro-switches, HALL sensors and potentiometers
- Mechanical locking system

ST1-N variant
The ST1-N is a special variant of the standard ST1 joystick. It is equipped with up to three extra NS0 double contact elements. These blocks enable users to make a 3-2-1-0-1-2-3 switching configuration and hence to work with for example 3 fixed forward and 3 fixed backward positions. The NS0 elements can easily and modularly be mounted to the drive block of the ST1 joystick.
