The WC-Q+ cable control unit can house 8 linear joysticks and up to 3 multi-axis joysticks. The data feedback function provides important information about the machine status on a customizable 2.8" TFT LCD color graphic display, through 32 signal LEDs, or on a 4.3" color display (CODESYS/Linux programmable). Up to 8 digital outputs, up to 8 proportional PWM outputs (4 axes, bi-directional), and up to 2 proportional voltage outputs are available. It features a serial port for field bus (CANopen), 4 digital inputs, and a removable power keyswitch.

STOP and EMERGENCY STOP
In cable-operated control units, a pushbutton with a stop function (STOP) is provided. In addition, an extra advantage is available: thanks to its characteristics and appropriate wiring, this pushbutton can be integrated into the safety circuits of the machine and can therefore assume the function of an emergency stop (EMERGENCY STOP). A stop device is defined as a manual control device used to initiate a stop function that allows the machine to be brought to a safe condition. An emergency stop device, on the other hand, is used to initiate an emergency stop function which, once actuated, allows hazardous machine components to be stopped in emergency situations. When used as an emergency stop, the pushbutton (rated up to 2 A, 30 VDC), in addition to being red, features a yellow background. The choice of how this pushbutton is used depends on the specific application requirements and on the machine risk assessment.
